We had dinner at Karl's several times during our vacation in Bernburg. We were served very courteously and warmly. The food, which was ready in a short time, tasted very good: delicious pasta, great schnitzel and the sweet potato fries were a poem. There was very good draft beer and fine wine and a liqueur at the end. The ambience and the mood were very pleasant. Clear recommendation.

So I have to break a lance for the store. Was there on Saturday evening and can't say anything negative. Drinks came very quickly in round two, and the food wasn't at the table much later, despite the warning that it could easily take. A young team tries to get the shop going again. Anyone who knows the service from 5 years ago should know what they have now. The food tastes good, the ambience is very nice for a city like Bernburg, I can only recommend stopping by and think if there are problems it helps to address.

Super fresh food! The fried potatoes were made from fresh potatoes, the mushrooms had a fine taste. The schnitzel was served on a lightly toasted slice of bread with herb cheese and iceberg lettuce. The portion size is more than sufficient, but it can also be ordered in XXL. Service was friendly, quick and reliable. Simply a well-rounded affair :) PS: there is a separate indoor area on the upper floor for smokers, cheap in cold and wet weather.

Today on October 3rd we were served quickly and well. We liked it. The coffee is very good and we really liked the food. Thank you very much:)

Sluggish service. Waited 40 minutes for the drinks. And another hour for dinner. Pork tenderloin wasn't done and they served non-alcoholic shandy and tried to hide it. It used to be much better. Are really disappointed 🤔

Unfortunately only one star. Service friendly but completely disoriented. The waiting times ... from placing the order to serving the food and drinks, you should take half a day off. It really doesn't work at all.

Unfortunately, our visit and some other guests that day were a huge letdown. Starting with long waiting times for the menu. We had to reserve something a little earlier because we had a little customer with us. After waiting for ages (25min) AND active intervention from me, we could finally order the drinks. When we said that we already knew what to eat, the apparently overwhelmed waiter referred us to our colleagues. One colleague was apparently not responsible for us and the other apparently worked for her unqualified colleague because she worked after him. In total, after 2 long active attempts to order food and the bottom line was almost 1.5 hours and of course empty glasses, we were able to order food. After another 25 minutes we asked not only about our child (hungry, exasperated and only busy with the cell phone) of course there was nothing to paint for the child, did we ask how long it would STILL take? get that it would probably take another hour. Then we got the bill for the drinks. The only excuse was. : Illness understaffed, etc. One wonders why all the tables have been occupied if they cannot be served anyway. We also got 3 other tables up. Sad... We went to another restaurant, very disappointed. They'll never see me again.

We arrived in Bernburg on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020. Because of the long drive, we wanted to eat at Karl's Platz. After we had taken our seats and an unfriendly waitress was supposed to take our order, she informed us that the only vegetarian burger was sold out and that we could no longer order something to eat around 2:30 p.m. Very bad service. We got up and will never come back.

Food was good, but the service was rather less. You get the impression that she hates her job. Food came after a short time, was very tasty, drinks too. The homemade lemonades are very good.

When it comes to that, the restaurant wouldn't deserve a star. We were eating there on Friday night. We had to take the table we had reserved for ourselves, because nobody else was interested in us. After we finally got the card on request, it finally took another half an hour for our drinks to arrive. When we ordered our food, it was said from the start that it would take at least an hour. The drinks were the last cough. Neither Sprite nor Coke tasted like that. Our schnapps was totally warm. I don't want to start with the food. The waiters are totally annoyed and unfriendly. There were also strong differences between them, which the guests also felt. The restaurant never sees us again.

Were there again today and as always very satisfied. It may be that you have to wait a little longer for the food, but it is always fresh, plentiful and very tasty. The waitress has always been very nice. Never had reason to complain. Keep it up 👍

It was the last time for us !!!!! The food came after an hour and 40 minutes, French fries still raw in the middle, Unfriendly staff and with questions from us or from the next table when the food comes only unfriendly answers At the next table there was even the question of how long they would be willing to wait, 10 minutes? Besides, they already had an appetizer So we don't again

We sat outside comfortably and ate well. The schnitzel were appetizing, just delicious and the portion very large. On the menu there are different Schnitzel variants. At the other tables we have seen many burgers and the salmon from the extra menu. The service was very friendly. Overall, a nice evening and recommended.

Food is not bad. Ubfortunately when I have been there I arrive at 7.50 and I run to choose something because at 8.00 the kitchen close. Dessert list is very nice.
